PLYMOUTH — The Devon and Cornwall Police are asking for the local public’s assistance in locating missing 51 year old James Thompson out of the Plymouth, Devon area.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this man at or near the Asda petrol station on Exeter Street in Plymouth on March 7, 2017 at around 5:20 am. This is understood to be last time he was seen (see full article for picture). In the provided picture he is wearing a dark hooded coat with grey trousers, dark coloured shoes and was carrying a red plastic ‘bag for life’ style bag. He leaves and walks down Exeter Street towards Cattedown roundabout.
James has previously slept rough and so police are asking people, such as dog walkers, who frequent places such as Lopwell Dam and Plymbridge Woods to keep their eyes open. If they see a tent, or some temporary shelter, please inform the police who can make enquiries.
James is described as:
• GENDER: Male.
• HAIR: Greying, dark, short.
• HEIGHT: 5 feet 7 inches.
• BUILD: Slim.
